Send an email to support@saqqar.sa with the subject “Delete my SAQQAR account”.
From the same email or phone number linked to your SAQQAR account, include:
Full name (as shown in profile)
Phone number used for OTP sign‑in
Email address (if linked)
Any listing IDs you wish to keep a copy of before deletion
For security, we may verify your identity via a one‑time code (OTP) or a signed request from inside the app.
We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion as soon as possible, typically within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.
What we delete
Account profile (name, photo, phone, email)
Saved preferences and favorites
In‑app chat history and support tickets (unless needed to resolve an active dispute)
User‑generated listings and media you created that are not involved in ongoing transactions
Device and session metadata associated with your account
Media files stored in our image service are queued for purge after account deletion.
What we may retain
Some information may be retained where we have a lawful basis or legitimate interest, for example:
Records required for fraud prevention, security, or abuse mitigation
Financial or transactional records required for accounting, auditing, or tax laws
Data needed to comply with legal obligations, regulatory requests, or to resolve disputes
Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you
When retention is required, we restrict access and store only the minimum necessary.
Timeline
Acknowledgement: within 3 business days
Deletion completion: typically within 30 days
Backups: data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period and will be purged on the next scheduled cycle
